Trinity tells the story about my love and friendship towards my three children while at the same time documenting their quest for independency, emancipation and identity. Narrative portraits, observed and staged ones, combined with metaphoric landscape photography are used to interpret the siblings’ personality and the condition of their souls. The series captures the children’s inner universe at a certain stage of their childhood: Carlota’s coming of age, Aljoscha’s turning into a teenager, and Nathaniel’s vulnerable emotional state that results in his rebellion against all forms of conventional pressure.

One of the last appealingly naive portraits of the children, then aged twelfe, nine and six years, comes into live in front of Dubai’s urban canyons in 2014.
